Join Michael “Hixy” Hicks every Monday night for the Happy Hour from 10:30PM til 12:30. Taking all of your requests all night as well as bringing back the best old school hits, and your favorite top 40 tracks from the more recent era.
Hixy comes from a vast radio background. His first on air experience was at the age of just 12 years old. Fast forward a few years and come to 2007 where he spent a few years at Gippsland FM co-hosting Generation Why and the Saturday night Party Mix.
In 2008, he completed an advanced training course through the Radio Training institute (formerly Melbourne Radio School). Following this, Hixy took on various production and Voice Over roles around various commercial stations.
Hixy returned to Gippsland FM in a production capacity in 2017. He remains a part time producer, technical assistant and media sales rep at the station
